The charms are made of PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride). The great thing is that PVC can be recycled and repurposed! It is a bit tricky to recycle PVC, so our libraries will collect any old or discarded charms across the district and send them to specific factories where they can be repurposed into items such as kayaks, furniture, and even children's playgrounds!
