Past event Mark and The Monster Eel

Join us at Wānaka Library for the launch of Mark and the Monster Eel, the delightful new children's picture book by local author Shirley Deuchrass. Written for children aged 3–7, the story follows young Mark, who must face his fear of eels.

Beautifully illustrated by Amber Leslie, a talented Te Kura o Tititea Mount Aspiring College student, the book gently opens conversations about fears while also highlighting the plight of Aotearoa’s endangered long-finned eel.
