There is an easy and convenient way to manage your family's library accounts using the Library App.

This method is perfect for families who have one or multiple children's library accounts and are looking for an easy way to manage checkouts on multiple accounts. 

Before you start:

Gather the library card numbers and PIN/passwords of the accounts you would like to link. 

Follow these steps:

  1. Download or open the Library App
    It's listed as CODC & QLDC Libraries in your App store. The app is by 'Solus' and you will see the library logo as the icon.
  2. Tap the menu button
    The menu button is in the top right-hand corner - the one with 3 horizontal lines.
  3. Tap ‘Linked accounts’
  4. Tap ‘+Add’
  5. Scan the library card barcode or add card details manually (including the PIN/password)
  6. Click ‘link’

You can link multiple cards to your account in the Library App.

After linking, you will be able to:

  • Use the 'digital barcode' feature for all linked accounts (perfect if you don't have all library cards on you - the digital barcode will work on the self-checkout terminals)
  • View current holds, checkouts, due dates and loan history for all linked accounts
  • Renew items across all linked accounts
  • Place holds across all linked accounts
  • View any charges and charge reasons for all linked accounts
