Do you ever finish a book and think 'I would love to read more books like that but I don't know how to find them'?

We have an easy solution for you that's already built in to our library catalogue. 

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to our Library Catalogue.
  2. Find the book you liked via the 'search'. In our example, we're using 'Country people' by Daniel Mason.
  3. Click on the book title to bring up a pop-up window with information on that book.
  4. Scroll down to the dark grey 'More information' tab. If this is not open, click on the small white arrow to open this tab.
  5. Scroll down to the 'You may also like' section and click 'See more recommendations'.
  6. This will bring up a larger pop-up where you can find a whole list of similar titles, books by similar authors, books by similar subject tags, books in the same genre, and books by the same author.
  7. If you like the look of a title, hover over it, right click on 'Check availability' and select 'open in new tab' to find it in our library catalogue and add it to your wishlist or place a hold.
