Join us every second month for our Senior’s Movie Matinee, showcasing a range of quality films and documentaries from Beamafilm, the library’s free-to-access streaming service for library members, showcasing top-quality international and local films and documentaries.

Each session takes place at the Lake Wānaka Centre, with films running approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

There’s a short intermission halfway through, offering a chance to relax, socialise, and enjoy light refreshments generously provided by the Upper Clutha Lions.

These events are completely free for our senior community and transport can be arranged for those with access or mobility needs, thanks to a funding grant from Otago Community Trust.

Booking is essential to help us plan catering and transport.

To book, please call 03 443 0410 or email wanaka.library@qldc.govt.nz.

We look forward to welcoming you!
