In our second workshop with Te Kākano, learn how to respectfully harvest harakeke (flax) leaves, and the weaving techniques required to make a simple plant guard! No previous experience or equipment required. All welcome and free to attend.

Spaces are limited to 20 pax, so please book through Te Kākano's Eventbrite website. If you need assistance booking, reach out to our friendly Queenstown Library staff.

This session is led by Te Kākano, a Wānaka non-profit organisation that eco-sources seeds from the Upper Clutha area, raises seedlings in our extensive nursery, and facilitates community-based native planting and habitat restoration.

The workshop is free and open to everyone. Limited spaces. Booking essential via Te Kākano EventBrite.
