Physical library collections

Our physical library collections include lots of items aimed at young adults. You can borrow:

  • Fiction and non-fiction books for young adults - most of our libraries have a dedicated section for young adult reading material
  • Dyslexia-friendly books
  • Comics, graphic novels and manga
  • Magazines
  • ESOL readers, for young adult speakers of other languages wanting to improve their English
  • Boardgames and puzzles
  • DVDs
  • Loanable activity kits including our Stargazing kit, Litter picking kit, and Birdwatching kit

You can search for all of these physical items in our library catalogue (in browser) or via our library app (search for QLDC Libraries in your preferred app store).

The Comics Plus Library provides unlimited online access to thousands of English language digital comics, graphic novels, and manga. This collection is suited to ages 8-18.
